A thrilling winter skiing scene in snowy Jämtland, Sweden.

The Powder Pursuit is a high-performance ski blog dedicated to skiers who live for both race precision and freeride freedom. The blog explores the intersection of slalom and giant slalom technique with the commitmen, creativity, and risk management of backcountry skiing. Our content is built for skiers who seek technical mastery, not shortcuts. Through in-depth analysis of ski technique, biomechanics, training methods, and equipment engineering,

The Powder Pursuit helps its readers understand not only how to ski better but why it works.Beyond performance, the blog promotes a disciplined freeride mindset, where freedom is driven by control, preparation, and respect for the mountain. Whether on an icy race course or a remote powder line, our mission is the same: to empower skiers with confidence, precision, and purpose. The Powder Pursuit is not about trends or social media hype. It is about craft, progression, and calculated commitment from the start gate to the steepest couloirs.

About Me

I am Max a French skier driven by one obsession: precision and freedom in the mountains. My passion for skiing was built at young age thanks to my parents both from the Pyrenees through two worlds that shape everything I do today.  Performance skiing on piste with my mom and freeride in its rawest form with my father .

From slalom and giant slalom technique to steep backcountry lines, I’ve always been fascinated by the balance between control and commitment. For me, skiing is not just about speed or style, it’s about understanding the mountain, the equipment, the snow, and the mechanics of movement. It’s a craft that rewards discipline, patience, and constant progression.

With The Powder Pursuit, I created a space to share that vision of skiing:
A vision where race precision feeds freeride confidence, where technical knowledge meets mountain instinct, and where performance and safety are inseparable.
